Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because status sassa of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The provider place created for intervention experiences a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
